CALGARY STAMPEDE, CALGARY, ALBERTA
JULY 9 – 12, 2010
The 2010 Calgary Stampede Heavy Horse Show will host the 26th annual National Shire Show of Canada.
It will be held at Stampede Park, in Calgary, Alberta, and will attract
exhibitors from several provinces and a few states in the U.S.
In addition to twelve separate halter classes for Shire breeding horses,
halter classes will be held for Shire geldings, as well as several all-breed youth classes, and riding classes.
There will be combined Shire/Clydesdale driving classes, and all breed performance classes for cart, team, unicorn, four’s & six’s.
Sunday, July 11, the six horse hitch championship will be featured.
The Canadian Shire Horse Association’s Annual Meeting will be held at Stampede Park during the National Show.
The exact date will be announced upon receipt of the show schedule.
